Happy New Year! As we come back from Christmas break we will be working on fitness and making healthy changes for the new year. In class we will do warmups focusing on the new year and on nutrition. We will be rotating through different fitness stations that focus on one of the fitness components of Flexibility, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, or Cardiovascular Endurance.

Above are a couple of warmups you can do with your child at home if you want to encourage them to be active alongside you.
We are going to be discussing nutrition and food choices throughout the year. I would like to promote students choosing healthy options at home. If you send me an email or Dojo message letting me know when your child chose a healthy option over an unhealthy option I will also award them Dojo points for this Thanks!
