I was born and raised in Clarksville, attending Montgomery Central, Richview and Northeast schools. I spent 4 years in design/architecture school at The University of Memphis before transferring to APSU where I graduated in 2001 with a bachelor's in Art Education. I earned a masters in Art Education from Western Kentucky in 2006. This is my 19th year teaching visual arts with 17 here in Montgomery County and 2 in Las Vegas, NV.
My husband is an Air Force veteran and is currently a Captain with the Fire Department on Ft. Campbell. We have a daughter in Second grade and a son in Pre-K here at Cumberland Heights. We live on 20 acres and have a menagerie of animals. In my spare time I paint, read suspense novels and practice my woodworking skills.
