I am not your typical image or personality when you first think of a teacher. I think that is what really sets me apart. I lived life sort of backwards. I have two beautiful grown children who are productive members of society. I was in nursing for 14 years when I went back to college to be a teacher. I got married later in life to my best friend. I am a firm believer in respect, both showing and giving it. I truly love what I do and I think that is what makes a big difference. EVERYONE has a talent and can provide important input into life and I am here to help your kid find their special talents and run with it. I am looking forward to the 22-23 school year and getting to know a new group of kiddos.

Most news will come through the communication app we use for this school year. If it is something not inside the classroom, like year book or extra stuff it will come home in their folders. Please check them nightly and take stuff out! 

 

  1. Mrs. Z’s Classroom Rules:

1.  Be kind and respectful to everyone, including yourself.

2.  RAISE your hand before speaking. 

3.  Try to do your work! NEVER just sit and say I don’t know how to do it. If you were paying attention and participating then you can do it!

4.  ALWAYS clean up after yourself, you mess it up you clean it up!

5.  Have fun and learn something new every day!
