Free Meals for Children

CMCSS will continue offering free meals to children in Clarksville-Montgomery County through Friday, July 31 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon at the following locations: Barksdale Elementary, Burt Elementary, Glenellen Elementary, Moore Magnet Elementary, Montgomery Central High, Northeast High, and Northwest High schools.

Corona Virus Update in CMCSS

Over the past few weeks, a Communicable Disease Team (CDT) comprised of leaders from CMCSS and the Montgomery County Health Department have been meeting regularly to review the latest guidance from the CDC, monitor the health and attendance of CMCSS students and employees, and make recommendations to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.

March Madness Reading Challenge

The challenge is on! 2nd-5th scores are based on the highest percentage of passing Read-N-Quiz tests. K & 1st scores are based on the highest percentage of students reading (minimum of 30 books). The winners of each brackets at the end of the month wins an ice cream party!

The TCAP Testing dates for 3rd-5th are April 14, 20-23. Please make sure your 3rd, 4th or 5th grader is in attendance on the testing days. Pennies for Patients –fundraiser through the 18th!

We are raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through our annual Pennies for Patients! Students can bring in their money or family members can give online through March 18th. Each classroom has a $200 goal. The overall school-wide winning class will receive an Olive Garden lunch!

Tornado Relief Drive

This Monday and Tuesday (9th & 10th) we are collecting items for our fellow Tennesseans who were devastated by the tornadoes. Fourth graders are also collecting for the Humane Society. See the orange flyer for a suggested list of items.
